FDA food recalls

Source: openFDA food enforcement reports, data last updated October 7, 2026. One recall event can cover many products, so we count both product records and distinct events. A month is based on each record’s FDA report date. Causes and categories come from keyword rules applied to the free-text reason and product fields. They are approximate and are not FDA classifications (see rules).
